Hello,

The time has come to finally buy my dream car...

I was originally looking at a 996 convertible, well let me re-phrase that
my (now ex) girlfriend was looking at them, but now im on my own
I can look at getting a real car.

Anyway im looking at buying an M12 GTO 3 (not R or GTO)
early (ish) next year, but before I start saving I need to test drive one just incase I turn stupid and not actually get on with one ????.
Could anyone recommend a good garage to test drive one at all ?
I dont want to test drive a private owners vehicle as it wont be fare to the owner as Im not ready to buy yet.

Looking forward to speaking to people on here and thanks in advance,

Brad.

Well I cant afford a 3R frown and unless I have been miss informed the GTO 3 is slightlty quicker and doesnt suffer the ECU problem and overheating ??

Thanks for the offer ! very kind, im in Benfleet Essex, Im only 23 so insurance for the day would be very hard to obtain and or very expensive (Wouldn't it lol ??).

If you're in Benfleet - then LondonNoble (aka TVR Centre, aka Trimar Sportscars) are based in Arkley (N London)or Kerridges.

A 3.0 is quicker than a 3R - why's that then (and don't day the less weight)?

Ha Ha, funnily enough me and my brother in law have just been talking about you (in a way) I mentioned joining here to get some info about a test drive.. And he said "I wonder if the guy who owns the silver M12 round our way is on here" So thats the short answer lol..... Would be seriosuly intersted in having a look around yours though if your sure its ok ?

Thanks,

Brad.

Sorry to be more clear... I meant I cant afford a 3R and after this I was refering to the GTO 3 being quicker than the GTO.

if you go for the GTO3 - try and make sure the gerabox is a 6 speed with the lsd / or its a 5 speed that is upgraded with the LSD (some 3r's have a 5 speed box to confuse things !)

MickyTwohats car has had the upgrade

the engine in the gto3 and 3r is the same

Hmm, i know where you can get a good GTO-3 with a 6spd, LSD and M400 linkage!!!!!!

Mines up at the mo but in relation to when people come to have a look, I'm afraid I wouldn't be letting any jo blogs have a go. I've dealt with to many cars that disappear once the keys are handed over!! Not only that but I would be to afraid of someone stacking it.

Brad they were with the cars, i.e. robbed!!! Mind you due to the limited number of Nobles out there stealing one of those isn't a bright idea.

Tony, I wish mate cloud9 Once the Noble has gone I will be looking to get a z06. What are you driving now?
