stones thrown onto the road---is this isolated to Portsmouth

Afternoon all, after a worrying incident recently and the report in the local paper, I was wondering if the 'isolated' incident of kids throwing stones, rocks etc at/onto cars on A roads and Motorways was 'isolated' as described by the local BIB or a new 'culture' that is adding to woes of this wonderful land...

Anyone from places further North than Winchester, West of Southampton or East of Chichester experience/heard of anything similar???

Last summer we had a slew of incidents like that across Ontario, the worst of which resulted in severe brain damage.

Sadly, these types exist everywhere.
