Just a small problem.

The light works, it cycles through the three colors when I turn the ignition on, but it does not work when it's cold and it was damn cold last night. Where is the sensor for this thing?

Thanks

The sensor is a tiny wee thing that lives just behind the front number plate in the nose of the car. Sits just next to the horn on my car.

I think the sensor is called a thermistor. My light shows green (are you sure you should be going out?) or red (are you bloody mad) depending on the temperature. I think that I read somewhere that the sensor can hide in the wing mirror.

According to the manual

Green 2 - 4 deg
Orange 0 - 2 deg
red 0 deg or less

Hmmmmm... must be another of my dash warnings that doesn't work. I only seem to get the battery light when I turn on the ignition, some winter investigation called for.

Mine doesn't work either. I just assume that if I need to defrost the windscreen, it's a tad cold out there biggrin

Funny this topic has come up, first time the light in mine has ever come on today! Though it only stayed on green, and I'm sure it was freezing or colder!
