Probably around £5K IMHO, but then it looks nice, and they are rare.

Nice looker and a credit to her keeper. But at 7k he's got to be having a giraffe or he's on better drugs than me. He'll be lucky to pull 4k in this current climate. As for the manual box, yes, for some this is an advantage and usually a sign of the boy racer in us all, but in all honesty not best suited for a car of this ilk. I wouldn't have a manual as I prefer autos in big cruisers. Think traffic and crawling motorways and as powerful as the AJ16 is when equipped with the charger, it's not exactly a 'mowta' to be engine breaking coming into a chicane in. Nor is it the beast to have tail slapping as you exit yer local MaccyD's car park.
For me the manual box is a minus. I adore my R for what it is, not what I want it to be.

Still very nice though.

I agree £7K is too strong for this. I bought mine just over a year ago for £5K. It's an auto (which I wanted anyway) but had only 33K miles and as close to mint condition as makes no difference. The seller originally wanted about £6500 IIRC, but lucked out on ebay - to my good fortune smile

Yup, autos are great IF YOU'VE LOST THE USE OF YOUR LEFT ARM AND LEG!

I dunno about the price but I drove one years back when they first came out and it was fantastic! evildriving
I would have thought they'd have a cult following, especially on here......

On the face of it £7k is far too much.. but for such a rare car if sombedy really, really wants it they'll pay up.

Personally can't think why 'tho - IMO the Getrag 265 box is crude and agricultural and the clutch weighs a ton - it's completely out of balance with the effort required on the brake and throttle and quite a challenge to drive smoothly at low speed - give me an auto cloud9 XJ/R anyday.
