As some of you may know from last year my wife and I organised a trip to the Isle of Man, and we all had a real blast, we are thinking of doing this again next year due to popular demand, and would like to gauge interest.

The weekend would consist of staying here http://www.mountmurrayhotel.com/?gclid=COXksqDMtpc...

Track day here on Saturday http://www.duketrackdays.com/Cars.aspx

Curry and Casino on Saturday evening, rest of the time driving TT course as much as you like. (Unrestricted roads.)

Cost per person based on one car crossing and two people sharing a room:

2 nights (10/11 April) £193.50

3 nights (10/11/12 April)£240.50

4 nights (9/10/11/12) April £287.50

10% reduction will apply if booking paid for before February 2009

The above prices include crossing but if only one person in a car there is an additional supplement of £64.50 for the crossing and a single supplement of £27 per night BB.

Track day is £68.50 if booked and paid for in advance.

We just need a rough idea on numbers as the hotel has a wedding that weekend, and rooms are limited, so a speedy response is required.

If you have never been to the Isle of Man before it is definitely worth a trip! Where else would you get a Police officer challenging you to a race? Happened to one of our group last year!

Please add name to list if you are serious about coming. thumbup

Sounds great - I would love to join in but don't need accomodation as my parents have a place in Douglas.

Have you been able to get any discount from the Steampacket on their standard fares ?

Although only small, Jurby is ideal for the 'not so serious' or novice trackday driver who doesn't want to risk damaging their P&J - and the no limit sections on the Island are pure driving heaven (weather permitting).

I'd love to tag along, not been to IOM for years. Is that bike museum still up that mountain road? also any noise restriction at the track?
