My mother is looking for a watch for my old man for Christmas, however he seems to want a metal watch which has both the digital and analogue functions. I think this is mainly so he can use the digital part as a stopwatch. I dont understand it either but can anybody help with any suggestions? I dont think she would want to spend more than £500.

Thanks

There is an old Breitling, a Navitimer 3300 (and a 2300) which are about that price for a real vintage Breitling.
Hard to find though, many are ex Iraqi Airforce!

Failing that, Citizen make quite a few SS Ani-digital Chronos.

It's a shame most LCDs in these haven't moved with the times are still look very dated

Desperate times and all that! Loads on eBay around the £700 mark and a few even cheaper, like this example. If you like the look, now's the time to buy.
