Been flying them for eight years and still not brilliant.
It's a real addictive hobby when you get into it...

I'm into planes. Yet to attain my "A" cert though because my local club is so crap and I feel like I'm intruding when I ask the to give me a bit of instruction. Hence I haven't bothered going down there for the last 8 months and will probably be selling out of the hobby soon.

It's "gassing" about a subject covered in here all the time, this being the "model" section of the site.

Why should it be in General Gassing, which is the forum about car related subjects only?

Maybe the 'Scale' bit of the title is a little bit misleading nowadays. We've a lot of RC bods in here as well as scale modelers so is it worth thinking up a more universal title to be a little more all encompassing?

Quite non-specific so can include everything.

It needs some sort of identifier along with the word 'model' or we may be mistaken for some of the more dubious forum available on car boards!

yup. That and the fact that we have a "Pie & Piston" for non car related banter, a "General Motorsport" section for, erm, general motorsport related banter etc etc. "General Gassing" on a car related forum seems to imply that it's for "general Gassing" about car related subjects.

Not that hard to figure out really, you've been here 51months after all.
