Gornholm back for 2009?

It is rumoured Marcus Gronholm will be back in the WRC next year, driving a Subaru. Thoughts?

So he still wants to take part in rallies, but only a few.
Maybe he could 'car share' with another driver...lol

I don't think he will do a full season with Subaru.

TV interviews are nowhere near as much fun these days.

And he's still the only driver who can consistently challenge Loeb.

Be good to see him do a few more ERC rounds in 2009 too, but I understand it needs local sponsors to pay for him to come and play.

I'd love to see him back, I desperately wanted him to win the Championship last year.

And not just because I wanted someone other than Loeb to win for a change.

I don't think that's realistic.
Loeb will be in a C4, Gronholm in an Impreza.

This could look bad for Solberg if Gronholm is on the leading pace in the Impreza.

Similarly it could look bad for Subaru if even Gronholm can't be on the leading pace with the car.

I'd love to see Marcus back though.
