Good TD4 service in glasgow?
Discussion
Hi
can anyone recommend who does an excellent job servicing Freelander TD4's in Glasgow?
Mine is a 2005 TD4 HSE S/Wagon with Engine chipped for extra bhp
I also own a triumph daytona bike which I take to a specific dealer as they get all the factory engine upgrade diagnostics direct from Triumph so during a service they automatically upgrade the engines computer
Does this also happen with cars? worried if I put my freelander into regular garage they will not have these updates - I've also chipped the engine so would need whoever was servicing it to take this into account
Clutch feels a bit weak and is now very easy to stall so will need to get that checked out too!
Anyone recommend a good garage for servicing
thanks in advance!

There was a warranty issue with clutches cooking on Td4's
The slave cylinders were at fault if I remember correctly. I got mine replaced by LR under warranty.
My symptoms were, pulling out into traffic and plenty of revs but engine would die. Or low revs, first gear and when you needed power, engine would die.
There was also an ECU flash upgrade
