Anyone know this car?

The 1995 titanium VT for sale by Select Performance, black leather with red piping. It has been up for sale for a little while now. Currently shared amongst two people and has covered 15,000 miles. All i am asking is does anyone know much of this car, who it use to belong to, seen it at any trackdays?

The current owners may be on PH but i am really just trying to find out any information that they are not able to supply me with.

I have seen that car, and it is mint.
Low mileage, great colour scheme and owned by a garage proprietor, from what I recall.
Knowing the seller, I very much doubt if it has ever been abused or tracked.

Nope, I noticed a tuned 3.3 turbo with some RUF stickers and wheels on there, but not a genuine RUF...not even a RUF converted 3.3 turbo, just one that someone had glued some RUF bits onto...

I LOVE that silver VT - STUNNING! I remember when it first came on the market - that is one sexy car - not at all keen on black interiors myself but that's personal taste.


It has been around for a while now so you may be able to get a good deal?

If in doubt, no legitmate vendor would object to a professional inspection

It is nice isnt it. I am just waiting for more feedback from the seller before I go down to see it. I would be sure to get an inspection carried out, always have done with my cars.

It is true they are, but when this particular 911 was made, they would take a Stuttgart built car and do whatever the owner wanted to do to it. So in essence, it is like Ford tuning Vauxhalls. That hasn't happened yet, but the new Ka uses the same chassis as the Fiat 500, so don't discount that happening in the long term...

Have thought about it, not ideal scenario though in all honesty and one i dont think i will do but theres no harm in getting a couple of quotes. The money I'm chipping is paying for other things as well.

Would just like to find out a bit more about this car. Im sure something will crop up sooner or later.

Not a porsche expert but looked a bargain if it was actually a ruf as they are fairly serious pices of kit.

However I have been put right.

Mattymouse - If you get it - Give me a shout - I'll get the number of a place near brum who do retrims at REAL money - I've seen their work (on a friend's car) and it's great - good quality leather and great work Sensible money. I will be getting them to do a few bits in my Esprit in the not too distant...

Thanks that would be good. I have had a couple of re-trims done before but a different car.
