Insurance Idiots
Discussion
I've just found out from the wrinkly old Joanna's insurance company that the policy on my Cerb is void. I completed the insurance on-line, with the help of one of their advisors, as I already have my other car insured with them, but then they wrote to me asking for proof of my no claims.
After speaking with them this morning they advised my no claims is used against my other car, doh!!!!! I knew that, but that for the TVR I need a minimum of 2 year NCB which I don't have. How stupid are they, I told them this was my second car but they didn't advise I need a minimum 2 year NCB.

So, who is the best that you know for insurance on a second car with no NCB???
Quick response would be good as my car is not insured
And Joanna you can stick all my policies up your wrinkly old arse!!!!

AON will mirror your NCD, so you could insure your first car with them and then mirror it for the Cerb. Then if you don't have an accident within the first 12 months, the mirrored NCD becomes real NCD. (That is, you then have two NCDs. You can't blame them for not knowing you didn't have a second NCD, many of us do have!)
You have to tell them all this when you insure though, you can't just automatically use your NCD on two cars!

Hagerty or Mannings usually come up with good rates if you are happy to limit the miles and you have a main car as a Daily Driver, no NCD needed but also none accrued - I went with Mannings due to track day cover being included for as many as you want, Hagerty will offer it at I think 10% of the annual premium per time.
