My Colleague's Voicemail

He's not the sharpest of guys and amongst many other things he does to amuse us, his voicemail is;

"You have reached **** at ****. I'm currently unavailable to take your call at the moment right now, please leave any message after the beep and I'll return your call."

The same guy has smashed his Lexus up twice in 3 months, almost been sacked for under-performance and porked a bird on a training course he went on within two weeks of joining the company.

Head and parapet I believe!

A bit verbose for me

I had "after the....." on mine for a while.

Hold on hold, I'm gonna get this one...."Call" sounds a bit like "Ball" and "Message" sounds a bit like "Massage" so it's like he is asking his callers to massage his balls... is that it, is it.. do I win?

I am surprised with so many "grammar pedants" on here that the OP is gettign a hard time.

I mean, dont get me wrong, a lot of his post about the guy naiiling a bird is hardly criminal, in fact, maybe he deserves a bit fo kudos for it, but that message is crap and hardly displays a profesional image to would be callers.


But a thread all of it's own.........hmmm

Now if he were to post the number up on here and let a few of us leave some messages for him asking where he, himself, currently is, at this particular moment in time, just now, and to call us, ourselves, when he returns from his current location where he is right now etc etc, then it may pass a few minutes before home time!!

But without it, I am not so sure!
