I have posted some pics of my 400 dash on the Yorkshire Forum
from before and after having it re-veneered
which might be of interest to some on here

I was going to complain about what looked like marks from resting your coffee cup next to the handbrake... but then I realised it was reflections of the gauges. Top job

Certainly does Alan
and when finished looks a lot better than the cigarette lighter

Got it for £15 0ff ebay and has a real pose value when starting up

Cheers

I know they had them on very early Minis, but also some Moggy thous, and I'm sure my old Wolseley 1500 (first car cloud9) had one....turn key, then press the button.

I suppose any of those could be used. scratchchin

these are brand new off Ebay for £15 and are
usually called something like "Honda S2000 lookalike start button"

Since I had my dash done tho' , the hole is slightly too big for the button
so just need a ring of the correct size to mount it in
which will bring it flush with the dash and look better

HTH
