Road-Legal Lambo Racer
Rear-drive Murcielago for the road
A road-legal version of the Lambo Murcielago R-GT racing car has been unveiled by German race engineers Reiter.
The suitably be-winged chariot is based on the rear-drive factory racers that Reiter runs for Lamborghini in the GT championship. It was built as a one-off for the Essen motor show, but doubtless Reiter Engineering will be delighted to churn out a few more copies if demand is out there. Failing that, the company is believed to be planning to offer some of the parts as individual components, possibly including the high level exhaust system designed to limit damage in the cut-and-thrust of close quarter track action.
Discussion
Looks cool, I just wish the standard car had looked like that to begin with.
This is what Lambo's are all about. They need a rear wing big enough to build a small airport on, and it needs to be scary behind the wheel. It's character.
I'll take mine in Matt Black; now that would look evil
