I have found my dream car. Anyone have any thoughts of what a reasonable offer may be on this car?
I originally set out with an absolute max of 100k. Having seen this particular car, i may have to revise that a fraction.
Also 12.5k on the clock. Can anyone see any issues with this? It's a vehicle that i would probably look at keeping for the long term so i'm not really worried about depreciation. IMO the 599 looks set to becom a classic.

Thanks in advance

You'd be lucky to get £10K off in my opinion. Already seems well priced...

Yes it isn't badly prices but I simply have an absolute limit of 120k.
Am not looking to make an offer that anyone considers rude. Obviously I am hoping that current market conditions allow me to to enter a different bracket of vehicle. I had previously been looking at a Vantage or an F430.

I have been following the prices of the 599 as well. I had one on order but decided (wisely/luckily) to give it a miss earlier this year and my god they have fallen since. This seems well priced but that might be due to the high mileage (relative that is). Also, MY08 get ceramics as standard and warranty is extended by 1 year so maybe you should hold out for a MY08 once they approach this kind of level which cannot be too long.

I am not to sure about the "classic" status. Too many produced and too many electronic gizmos to maintain.

It's almost an inverse Daytona. Loved when it comes out but in 30 years due to all the electronics and the looks I think it'll be dated and dirt cheap.

550's the proper classic IMO, Barchetta more so.

...also I have a bit of a problem with the size. Despite the fact that it does not feel big when you drive it, it actually is a car with a large footprint. (especially with the width)

I doubt they'd discount much from that price, it will sell in a matter of days if not hours, Im sure it will have ceramics, I don't think any UK cars came with Steel brakes.

I'm no expert but I've seen 456's with 100k+ miles on them, loads of guys have very high mileage 360's and 430's so I see no reason why you couldn't expect the same from this?

I know nothing about the 599 but I searched far and wide for my 360 spider and travelled 450 miles twice to view and then collect a car from DL Swindon.
They were not the cheapest but they did have the best turned out cars. If they have a car you want, they would be worth a visit.

Issues with the milage? Mine has done near that and besides a stuck brake light, has been faultless. The only negative I find is that the suspension doesn't really suit the bad quality roads in the UK. It gets quite tiring. Having said that, it's simply the best car on a good piece of tarmac, though I'm sure the boys in their bats would disagree!
