Have been looking at some pics of topless Monaro's. Not sure what I think. What's the view of the rest of you?

I personally hate convertibles. Exceptions are AC Cobra, Triumph Stag and Corvette Stingray - most other cars i just think it ruins the lines when you chop the roof off.

AFAIK, there was only one official convertible Monaro ever made, I believe it was called Marilyn and cost somewhere in the order of $A1mill. And it was made in the UK! Any others seen are 'chop jobs'.

It was built and developed by a firm called Ultra Motive who went under a few months ago, google them and you can see the vehicles they developed. The one tonner I have aquired was one of theirs.

Are there any pics of it with the hood up? I suppose the nostril bonnet would fit yeah?

Don't know about marilyn more like sue ellen, the plate should have ewing 3 on it. The only cars to look good with no roof are cobras and ferrari daytona's. Oh and that mcburnie roadster from miami vice which imho looks better than a real one.
