Bizarre santa experience!

I was walking through a shopping centre at lunchtime & there was a Santa outside a very cheap shop, lets say it is slightly cheaper than the pound store.
Santa on a stage outside with huge PA system. Not the real Santa, looked about 20! Loads of kids looking up to him while he asked if they had been good this year, what do you want from Santa etc. etc. All good. Then the music started & it turns into an advert for the shop, Jaffa cakes for 99p / facewipes 99p / come inside to look. The most weird thing I have seen!.
Then popped into Woolies to look for a bargain, about 500 people fighting over the pick n'mix / looked like a 1970's Russian shop, a queue a mile long.
The world has officially gone mad. Thank god for internet shopping.
