iv had my 2.5 noble for around four months now, as much as i like the car, i just need a bit of extra power, the power graph shows 185 bhp, im looking at uping the boost to 1 bar, but was woundering were to take it to be set up and mapped? and how much that it is likely to cost me? and as im not using it much at the moment it will be good to set it up over winter?

185 bhp is pretty poor power - where was it tested ?

i think you will be able to get between 320 - 340 bhp with a remap (possibly an aftermaket ecu)

what ecu do you have

Its all down to what ECU you have. If your car had the factory upgrade of the MBE ECU then there are only a few people to go to and I would have said it may cost around 300+ a boost controller.

I have an after market ECU and hitting 340 at 0.8bar.

Haltech.

You either have the magnetic marelli or the MBE. If it is the MBE it can be tuned if the MM then noit can't.

Omex is an after market fitted ECU to the Noble and I know of 2 Nobles with Haltechs fitted (which is what I have).

John Noble Motorsport arte the boys. They can fit and tune an Omex for you. 350 should be easy peesy on a 2.5.

Only person worth his salt mapping wise, using the MBE, in the south is yellowshed (trevor).

Not sure 350 is relistic on a 2.5 unless you have a upgraded exhaust etc. (well on road and track's rollers that is)

No - I sold the car within a couple of months of getting it set up by Trevor. I had the work done to cure an over boosting problem (details in the thread).
