Hi Richard....did I tell you my boy is called Richard...again. hehe

Blimey I'd forgotten all about the meet - as usual. rolleyes

Forecast is sleet showers, and I've lots to do (2 youngsters coming home for Xmas), so doubt it mate.

Still, never say never. Am really getting Wedge withdrawal symptoms. frown

Your new veneers look great by the way. I'm thinking of carbon fibre effect or similar.
At the moment with the car (cosmetically) it's a bit like having the courage to rip off that first bit of wallpaper, so you've just got to get on with it. smile

Getting on for two weeks forced sitting down. No driving. Sodding knee. Garage full of Wedge and all I have is anti inflammatory pills and note from the doctor. And its raining.

Well I take it you didn't make it Graham?

There wasn't that big a turn out, but a good crew and as stated
excellent food and shandy.
Also managed to park alongside a beautiful black Aston Martin Vantage
although a couple in a Griff came to admire my Wedge first.

Best bit about this cold weather tho' is how well it helps
the engine to run, and on full warp factor today my Beast
was just awesome.
For those not able to get out today, we even did a double run thru
the tunnel under Leeds Bradford Airport runway, and my son
was killing himself laughing at just how loud we were.
Brilliant fun leaves a smile on the face for hours
Just glad I didn't Sorn my car at the beginning of Dec

Safe driving everyone driving

Cheers beer

Hi Richard,

You must get a "tunnel run" on you-tube, I never dreamed that such a crappy tunnel could have so much entertainment value...

.... the fact I can tell my mates "I've been through there in that car" is frankly irrelevant wink

Yes I went out ! driving

Too busy driving to chat in the pub....sorry Trickie, and had some errands to do (my excuse for the fifty mile jaunt hehe).

Top down of course, but gloves on today as the heater is good, but not that good. smile

I was thinking how beautifully the old girl drives...no rattles or squeaks.
She started on the button after 2 weeks languishing in a cold garage, and goes like st off a stick when pressed, but a pussy round town.

Marvellous ! thumbup

I had a brief window of opportunity, weatherwise, to get the 280i out for a drive today.
It felt good to get some seat time in it again after a week or two of it sitting in the
garage under cover. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be a wet 4-5 days from here on out but hopefully another drive won't be too far out beyond that.

Hi Simon

How's the 400 Hunt going?

I'm sure there are several of my tunnel runs (by various people)already on U Tube

But the best one is still the one done by Jagdpanther(Scott) at the beginning
of this video (MUST BE WATCHED WITH SPEAKERS ON HIGH)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=UO3AQsxesvA
It is my old 350 tho' not my 400
Enjoy lick

Rich

Hi Richard,

The tunnel nearly knocked the speakers off the wall and your 350i seems a bit quieter than the 400 ?

The 400 Search is currently postponed until my Ranger thing is a least back on it's wheels (with an engine it it) and the Stylus has moved onto a new home....

But a least I know what I'm looking for now smile
