Not bad at all for a stock ls2 with blower, just goes to show how good they are as standard.

Interesting how the graph is still fwhp?

Still, 505 at the wheels is bloody good. I'm feeling nervous after what I just spent!

Post your RWHP and torque graph please Sir so we have a more accurate number. FWHP is Nobody else in the world uses it on a chassis dyno so why should you

505 is not bad rw.

Pity its so hit and miss with the SC, NA will be more consistent. I now have a target to hit. Caspy might just be right afterall on the LS3 as long as he dyno's it in the middle of winter.

Lets see how it goes on the dyno day in July 09

Now get a cam in there and get some proper power.

Be interesting to see how much more your cam will add Wormus as apart from that there isnt alot of difference.

Yep depends what everyones goals are. Mine was never to make the most power, otherwise Id have gone 454LSX-TT.
My goal was the best power NA for stock appearance, maintenance and reliability.
Im guessing it will come close to 500rwhp. But we will see.
Plus I thought Id be able to scare some of the SC guys while I was at it as I dont believe they are very optimally configured.
The newer forged ones with heads/cam and mafless setups and proper exhaust are much more on track.

If Roger puts up a realistic dyno sheet that will be good as we can then compare the torque curve later. Roger of the Fish will tell you the fwhp numbers are pure fantasy, as he has an engine dynosheet to prove it. So please for gods sake stop posting fwhp numbers everyone!

Sorry no link to a 454TT, but it can be done.

Edlebrock have a new raw casting. A canted valve LS head should flow over 400cfm easy. The whole US aftermarket has gone crazy for LSx stuff, there are a few new cylinder blocks too. RHS from Comp are doing one, plus World, plus Dart. GM also now sell a 454 LS as a factory engine. So plenty of options when the USD becomes worthless in 09.

Thanks for the rw graph, also for scanning in the RPM, very nice flat torque at 500ftlb. That will be hard to beat NA for sure. Though I might be able to nibble at the peak HP number with a little more torque at the top end.

Best I get my arse into gear and tune mine up asap.

Interesting comments from a dude here who does development work for Maggnuson that the 122 is less than 20bhp short of the TVS1900 at full whack. He said 1900 good for 800bhp max and the 2300 for 1000. Thats spinning them over spec too.

Lingenfelter spoke about a twin turbo LS7 with 1500bhp. I have the recording I think. Ill post up the sound files when I get back. Some interesting stuff from some of the top dudes in the industry including a guy from Comp Cams who used to be a Nuclear Phyisics Phd (Billy). Plus The Maggunson guy etc. Some good info for anyone interested in performance.

there ssems very little science behind it. Roger's makes good power but it's a standard ls2 with a 122 on top. Jez's made nowhere near that in spite of being the same spec. I thoght about replacing my 122 with a 2300 but I've seen other engines make a strong 750rwhp with my blower. Very confusing and I don't know what to expect.

If you bring it Ill eat it Very nice curve for sure.

Nice result in the winter. Looks like a 17% seasonal variation for eaton SC bods. Time to tune fan speeds and thermostats to keep those temps down in summer too gents.

Like I say though, not my scene unless you want mega power, but then you will need a proper built engine for that.

I still recon Ill beat that for peak power.

Yep. I can see why I cant "launch" the car at the strip now as it throws so much torque out so low that it just kills the tires. Have to look into how I can do WOT launch with some sort of traction control to get into the 11's next year, has the power I think to do it easy enough. What "toy" you going to repla`e the M3 with then... 997 GT3/2...? smokin
