Classifieds Photos - Just me?

Is it just me that finds that when you click a photo in the classifieds and it loads up a new screen with the number of photos at the top to cycle through - that moving between the different photos of the same car seems to take an age? Everything else seems perfectly quick. Any ideas?

Does this happen every time you visit the classifieds and view the adverts or only sometimes?

It happens pretty regularly for me. Often just the first 1 or 2 cm of the picture shows and then it hangs.

We are having disk read hold-ups with the image servers that is causing some delays in serving them out. We are moving to a different server architecture in the new year which will remove this problem, but in the meantime I apologise if this is causing problems as we do have a solution nearly ready to go.

I'd say most of the time, quite often its the first and second picture take a while to load and then the remainding pictures are generally fairly quick. I'll report back in the new year once you havbe your new setup in place. Only a minor niggle, rest of the site is superb, never suffer from the slow downs that used to occur a few months back.
