156 heated seats

Bought at auction on thursday, last car out of 300 or so, i had to wait ages for it, but was worth it, most traders had gone. It was actually £650 but with fees £730.
There are a couple of odd dents, one on roof, one on tor edge of door and a minor scrape down the osr wheel arch, but i found some paperwork inside with the last owners phone number on. Turns out he'd had since new, company car and always serviced on time etc but he didnt get the book stamped. I found that too, so off to the dealers monday to see if they will stamp it, or give me a print out etc etc

Yep I found the hanbook and 'lost' service book under the seat, says where sitches are and warning lamp, but dont know about the wiring.
Not sure how much current they draw, you could try taking a feed from the cigarette lighter but you may find it blows the fuse. Putting higher rated fuse in will solve this but you could cause the wiring to overheat and start a fire as a result. With it being a 52 plate you may find the wiring is already in situ.As a final note, before you start messing with anything, disconnect the battery for at least 15min for two reasons:
It makes sure the side air bag's wont go off
and
If you disconnect any yellow wires under the seat regarless of whether it has side air bags or not, with the battery connected it'll bring the airbag light on and the only way to switch it off is to take it to the dealers.
