looks the gonads for 69k. You could spend that on a 360 not that long ago!

imho silver is not resalable
same applies to manual F430
tbh wouldn't touch it myself even for 65k

Whats wrong with a manual? You'll probably find that some will would prefer one over a F1 box.

Having had both - I prefer the manual - perhaps I`m just nostalgic ... but love the "clink" noise as you go up through the gears.. the feel of the gearbox loosening up as the engine warms... something is lost for me with the paddle shift, no matter how good it is. Just my 2p ...

In terms of values - the sub 70k cars are about; there will be more distressed sellers to come in 2009; plus with a new model on the horizon ...... the F430 will be very very good value for money come 2009.

Speccing a car for resale is sad.

Your market might be smaller, but so will the pool of cars.

E.g. my old flatmate was actively seeking a 911 with nephrite green exterior/interior!

not sure if its an F1 or Manual , but there is a red 430 at the Blackbushe auction on Monday. There is another scheduled at Nottingham on the 14th of Jan.

The one at Blackbush is described as auto clutch, having done 12500 miles i wouldnt be surprised if the clutch could need to be done soon. It will be interesting to see what it goes for. Jazzy are you going?

I may do. I have a bit of work to get done tonight if I am going over there in the morning (I'm interested in a CLS thats coming up). If the work gets done I'll be there. I'll let you know what it goes for if I see it.
