LCD TV no picture just sound

Hi

Anyone know anything about LCD TV's? I bought a Bush 32" last October (so its just out of warranty) and the picture shows vertical lines of colour. Sound is fine. I really don't want to bin it because all the new LCD's are black and this is silver so looks nice in my bedroom.

I was going to try to get it repaired but I was wondering if they are fixable i.e being circuit boards, once you start swapping them am I pouring good money after bad?

Mine did a Similar thing. I couldn't be bothered to get it repaired so bought this....

You are still covered under the sale of goods act even if it is a few months over a year old.

Have you tried wiggling the cables and connections in the back of it?
Have you tried another TV with the same input cables and your telly with some other cables?

I'd suggest having a google, you never know what someone else has already done.

Get your local TV repairman to have a look.

You'll be amazed how cheap and easy it is to have fixed, in my experience.
