Battery conditioner (I am a Idiot)
Discussion
Morning,
I left my battery conditioner connected with the power switched off by mistake for a week, the conditioner now registers less than 9 amp's (Last night) I switched it on in the hope that it would recover but when I checked this morning it now barely even light's up on 9 amp's.
Have I screwed the battery? Or should I borrow a charger disconnect it from the car and try charging?
Any help appreciated
Boggy

Do you mean 9 amps or 9 volts?
Conditioner should get it back up (eventually) but we used to get a similar deep-discharge on racecars with a 'total loss' electrical system.
The way we used to sort this was to connect a slave battery and start the engine, then the 'kick' from the alternator was enough to get the battery charging again.

I've got hold of a charger so I'll kick it off with that for a Day then use the conditioner. Always the same when you're about to sell somethingConditioner should get it back up (eventually) but we used to get a similar deep-discharge on racecars with a 'total loss' electrical system.
