That looks like a screw in one with a stiched strap? Is there a screw in tow hook in the emergency pack?

no they dont come with an emergency pack, nor any mention in the owners manual of a towing eye or recovery procedure

Fatboys right on the source, it's Woodhouse Performance, saw them at VOI10, a very nice item. Better than what the Comp Coupe comes with!

Neil I also have the new ACR aero bits here, if you wanted to see how they look on your car? (These ones aren't for sale) but you could hold them up to picture if you like the look (I'll be up to Brum again soon).

Neil, dont have any on mine kept looking for some but somehow never got round to it, problem with the strap type on a road car is they can move about and nicely sand your front fascia which is nice the Big Brake ones are nice but need to be either drilled through the chassis for the rears or welded.

If you want to go the DBB route then let me kno and I can do a bulk purchase ie you and me LOL

thanks ill email Bill/Nancy, i like the woodhouse one as it reads the webbing strap is only put on when needed (hopefully never!) and stored in the boot, where as DBB stays on the car all the time

I only need a front incase of a breakdown, not really bothered about the back one

Neil, Nancy has left now, its Susan you'll need to call. The Performance part of Woodhouse is now seperate to the dealership where Bill is. Contacts are on the site. It does unscrew in seconds, and is a nice quality piece, as are the other options.

I want one for the front too but, does the Woodhouse design fit a Gen II?
I've spoken to Woodhouse who do not have experience of fitting it to a Gen II but say it should fit, or words to that effect.
Has anyone got experience of fitting the Woodhouse tow hook on the front of a Gen II? Does it fit?
Ade.

im not sure without trying, they now sell them singularly rather than pairs
so you can get one just for the front

here's it is, the black hex bar simply screws onto an existing chassis bolt through the nose, and the hook screws into that. Both parts just sit in the boot, unless you want to pose like Paul wink and leave it on all the time

there's some more pics here
http://forums.viperclub.org/srt10-srt10-coupe-disc...

its certainly a wise thing to do on a US spec viper having seen the mess made to one when no tow hook was available, tow hook is standard on a euro GTS
