Mrs B and B bought some fancy and expensive handmade Chrimbo cards for the 'special' friends and family and charged me with writing them.

Slightly distracted I wrote 'Happy Birthday' in them.

Being a bloke, I thought quickly before she could find out and added the words 'Baby Jesus' to the message, thus covering over my mistake in one swift move.

he's supposed to be 2000 years old, not sure he'd qualify as a baby any more...

Did you write "happy birthday" nicely spaced in the middle of the line, then "baby jesus" in tiny writing to the right?

Of course not, that would make it look unintentional.

I was on a date last week with a very pretty young lady and decided (foolishly) to tell some of my slightly blacker jokes.

What's worse than finding a maggot in your apple?

The Holocaust.

Just about to get to the punch line when I remembered that my date was Jewish and her grandparents had fled from Germany. Thankfully at the last moment I managed to change The Holocaust to Cancer, so that was ok.

I thought the punchline was "half a maggot" ? Funnier than your version too.

That is the expected version, quite bad but not too bad. Hence going totally OTT and finding the worst thing you can think of.

Published as a Viz top tip (though related to using birthday wrapping paper as Christmas wrapping paper).

I heard it as rape. Which I agree, is worse than finding a worm in your apple.

Yes, but if you rise from the dead are you zero again or do you start off from where you finshed?
