Just wondering if there are any owners north of the border? I am currently looking for a VT, not a 6.0 and was just wondering if there are any out there that you guys know of. I know of all if not most that are currently for sale however its the ones that are not for sale that i am interested in finding out about.

Long shot but thought nothing to lose

Thanks and your help is appreciated.

Hey Mat

If u get one another tunnel run may be in order. Tuscan is getting modified at the moment with a new exhaust so will be louder so may need to have a blast when i get it back. Did you get rid of the cobra?

I know of one VT owner who's certainly not afraid to travel (last time I saw her was in Chesterfield).

You after a local one to tyre kick, or a serious intent to buy?

Purple would sound like an SE30 or SV, over my intended budget. Less likely to be a 2WD/VT but I'm sure there is one around in Viola.

Hey Greig,

Absolutely except longer this time!! Glad to see the Tuscan is going well, what a car!! The Cobra went about 3 months ago, it was always intended as being the car before the Diablo. When i end up getting one I'm not sure, as you can imagine there are not too many around and specs etc vary a lot. Red, Yellow and Black are no-no's so i am limited, hence my search. My only contemplation at the moment is the Titanium VT for sale from Select Autos but waiting to hear back from them regards a few queries.

Thanks,

I would be interested in finding out what specs some owners have and if it suits, whether they have any intention of selling. I would plan on keeping the car until upgrading to a 6.0 a couple of years down the line which would be for life, its a serious intent to buy and I couldnt take it near the track, felt the same about the Cobra, just that wee bit too risky. I just want it to stare at it all day getmecoat

Good luck with the hunt and I hope you get what you are looking for. Just had a wee look at that Titanium one which looks amazing. Just a wee bit jealous.

Cheers Greig

Mathew, I know you are after a "subtle(ish)" Diablo, but that's the one that would be in my Christmas stocking in an instant. Every time there is a pic of Wazza's car posted anywhere I end up trying to tell Wendy how sensible it could almost be to have one. cloud9

Yes absolutely and i saw him the other week however I do need to get out and see a few more. I know what Carlo has and what else is for sale and also that they have been for a while now so essentially no rush BUT obviously i dont want to miss a car.

Its trying to find out if there are some cars that in private collections etc. Just the other week, some guy in Wales stumbled across a Black VT unused for 4 years but still in a collection, just badly neglected.

The more i have looked at different colours and realised the limits of VT colours, the more i think the car will be Titanium or Blue unless I find something unusual which i doubt and then it wouldnt be original either. There just cant be many out there though. Anyone got a guess as to how many Titanium VT's are in the UK, one, two?

Jim, you'll never persuade me, its a VT or nothing smile With the Murcielago Roadster wheels of course.

Come on guys, lets find those VT's!!!!

I'll get in contact with Wazza anyway and see how he is enjoying the car. I heard Al See use to own one too.

A guy on the (cough) evo (cough) forum posted some pics of a VT Roadster in silver(ish).
Suppose that looks sort of subtle.. in a not very subtle sort of way.

and the one that lets it down slightly as I always think the interiors look a bit cheap

The one I was thinking of is orange.

The owner, Jan, is a PHer, as it happens :

I saw it the other week, very unusual in red and a very nice car.
