Yet again I've no car for this!! I'm in an Audi A4 until Feb - though I may try and pop along (I'll park round the corner if I can make it)....

Hi Tony,Dare i ask whats wrong with the T350?
Had my Saggy for three weeks now, and Matt has had it for two of those weeks. I have only managed to do 15 miles in it since i got it home. It just keeps cutting out all the time. Anyway, Matt has worked his magic and i am picking it up tomorrow. Turned out to be a problem with the ecu, anyway like an excited kid again and looking forward to getting some miles on itwoohoo

Hi Nigel,
It's been suffering from low oil pressure at idle (5-7psi when hot) and despite changing the sensor there was no change. Castle have spoken with TVR Power who reckon it's a broken fan/rotor in the oil pump which unfortunately means engine out, send to power, repair and reinstall. ETA End of Jan/mid Feb. Also needs a new rad as has a very slight coolant leak. All covered under warranty (thank god as I feel it would have been touch pricey) and Castle have been fantastic in getting it all sorted.

Just a PITA as I've barely had it a month - but I'd rather now than when out of warranty.

Sorry to hear that, just so dam frustrating, still at least the weathers crap at the moment and should be all ready for the spring.
Is the warranty with Auto Protect? Mine came with 12 month warranty (Luckily), but they are a pain in the acensored to deal with. Although my ecu was covered, they wouldn`t cover Matt`s time in diagnosing the problem, which i am currently trying to resolve with the dealer (as the problem started within 24 hours of getting the car home).

Yes - with Autoprotect, though only 3 months. Not too worried about them TBH as I'd mentioned the low oil pressure on purchase and sorting it was a condition of sale so if A/protect wont cover then it'll be done under sale of goods by the dealer. As I mentioned I really can't fault Castle who have so far been fantastic throughout.

As for the weather I am glad it's happened now - not the nicest time to be driving a 350bhp RWD sportscar.

I'll be there, providing the weather's not too unspeakable. And so, hopefully, will Chimjunkie, 'cos I want to test my lardy arse in his beautiful new Exige seats.

Good man! You should have tagged along with me on the tunnel run Steve. The best part of the run was listening to others!

Suspect I will have a very heavy hangover on Sunday (or possibly the girlfriend's flu irked), but if not I'll try and head over.
