Can someone explain this for me please?

It's doing my head in. Before anyone says something witty, yes, it's a photo of a large, ugly bloke DJ'ing.

The bit that gets me, is how come the mirror reflection is blurred, but he isn't?

It was a no-flash photo, taken on automatic settings over the weekend. Nothing in the image has been altered - so how has it happened? The mirror isn't vibrating either - the lights in it are steady.

So, anyone with any answers?

OK I am no expert, but I am guessing that he is moving side to side so from the angle in the mirror he would be moving but side on he is not moving much at all.

The light pulse has captured his head still, but a reflection of it has faintly recorded the movement?

Maybe it's his soul trying to escape because he's playing Scooter.

The noise of the music is probably making the mirror vibrate, possibly fast enough to create a blur if the photo was taken with a slow shutter speed.

I think the light is bent slightly entering the mirror's glass, then hits the metal sheet at the back without refracting, then refracts on the way out again...

He is blurred just not as much. I would have said its simply because he was moving side to side more than front to back.
