iPhone, How to forward SMS

Can anyone please advise how to edit and forward a text msg on an apple iPhone. It's doing my bloody head in

When you have done what you needed to do, reinsert SIM into fashion accessory.

Why the ?

It's supposedly a market leading phone yet it lacks such a basic feature.
Not getting into the "iPhone Vs. Others" debate as it's been done to death.

However, the guy wants it to do something it can't do hence my (good) advice.

You can from what i remember, but no MMS unless you jailbreak it.
Was considering moving to O2 from Orange but hearing rumours that its coming to Orange in Q2 09 with additional features. But also looking at Crackberrys or HTC for next upgrade.

Suggestion;

Get a better phone to start with.

Now I accept that there are certain phones that will do certain things better but for an all round package, the Palm Treo Pro with up to 32GB memory will do all the iPhone can do and more!?

Im happy with it, dont need anything else.
