Why do you think they do not allow people with criminal convictions to serve on Juries? Because, of course, they are likely to have come across police perjury previously...

I knew a black guy that was stopped by the police once, & unbeliveably, they were calling him n*gger etc etc knowing full well that there was no way he could prove any of it. So now he carries a little tape recorder in the car with him, one of those little dictaphone jobs. Would have certainly helped out in this case I feel. Might be worth considering.

There's good and bad people in all jobs. Interesting article but I don't think this thread's going anywhere other than tarring all police with the same brush which isn't right.
