He was then interviewed by police and declined a breath test. He said he was killing time in the Sound before attending a piping recital in Portree, adding that a mix of medication had caused the incident. He was acquitted of culpable and reckless conduct by Sheriff Alexander Pollock, who said the Crown had not proven beyond a reasonable doubt that his yacht posed a danger.
