A quick question for you all - travelling along this morning I saw a lone WPC with a gun, scribbling down what I assume were number plates in a note book. Hopefully I was not one of her victims - we shall wait 14 days and see, but how can this work? In a big queue of cars, gunning the odd car and the scribbling down the number plate - what sort of evidence is that?

Anyone had this before and anyone been done by this method?

It's called sods law - she had a target rich environment and picked up as much as she could.

Saw this at the weekend in Battersea park. 12mph limit (on temporary bollards down the middle of the road) 1 park police gunning, one writing down. I figure they'll send out NIPS and wait for people to sign and return them without thinking.

After all where's the evidence?

Yeah. When I got done in the Spring the to55ers sent me three on the off chance I would sign all three.

I pointed out out two of the three were just completely made up and all of a sudden both were forgotten...

Be careful!
