Evo January 2000 featured an article on sports cars under £10,000, and the TVR S3 was featured. My TVR in fact!

When I bought the car, I was given a copy of the magazine by the previous owner. He said they interviewed someone else though, as he had owned the S for under a year then.

I've finally got a scanner. So here is a (small) scan of the article.

I have made available the scan in a bigger size for those who want to read it:

medium version (600k)

big version (1.5 Mb)

The colour is Cobolt Blue, but doesn't look that in the photo due to the studio lighting. It wasn't in that condition when I bought it either

It is a great way to show others what I drive.

Me: It is this car.
Them: oh, like that? - nice!
Me: No, exactly that

Nice to have something like that with the car. It can't take too much to get it back to that condition though it was only 3 years ago.

Does anyone else have their car published? Steve Heaths bible for example. There was one featured in 'classic and sportscar' as one to buy last month, any one here?

Spotted! Yep, that was me returning from Tower View after my M.O.T. My car went in nice and clean - but came back covered in dust, and driving into the sun was not pleasant - sorry I didn't see you

Terrible journey home - it looked quite a nasty smash - certainly a totally written off taxi and estate car.

My car was featured in 'Classics' magazine July/August 2001 with an MGR V8 and a Morgan.

Really nice to see such a good condition 'S' in print.

Well as Steve says in that section he has never seen one, and neither have I but if there is one in Holland the fair enough. In reality this may have been a one off? Who knows, certainly I wouldn't bargain on finding one for sale on the trade add's. R...
