Unmodified R33 Skylines?
Discussion
Does such a thing actually exist?
I'm pondering an R33 but all the modified cars i've bought in the past have been complete sheds and cost me a fortune to maintain (or rather de-bodge). Hence i'd rather have a standard car. To be honest i'd rather just have a standard car and leave it at that really (or are they really that bad as standard?).
I've never been able to find one that hasn't been dicked around with though. Am i looking in the wrong places or is there some hidden MOT criteria that R33s can't pass unless they're heavily modded?

Spooky... I've just bought a one owner completely standard R33 GTR (well it had some factory mods, stage 1 chip, extra oil cooler and momo s/wheel) and its pretty good like it is. So they do exist and they are quite quick enough in non modded form, but probably depnds what you are used to ? I came from Xk8 and GRiff 400... and its quicker than both those.
I bought an R33 GT-R recently and it was totally standard (which is one of the reasons that I bought it). The stock exhaust was blowing and so I have since replaced this with an aftermarket item. Car drives well enough as standard though. Lot of modified cars around for this model but I wouldn't be put off by light mods though.
