How much is your monthly electric and gas bill?

Just looking for some comparisons as Scottish power have just put our direct debit back up after reducing it not long ago....
Its now £89.50 per month for gas and electric - 3 bed semi with gas fired central heating and water, gas hob and electric oven. 2 people who are out at work most of the day.

ETA: We are also in credit - and the actual cost does seem to be around £65. They reduced the payment on the last bill and have now put it up - i guess just down to our "seasonal" usage.

Make sure your suppliers aren't financing their cashflow problems by increasing your monthly DD to far more that it needs to be to cover your usage.
Some of the suppliers have been publicly criticised for doing this.
Tried to shove my Gas DD up to £95 a month when we were already £200 in credit and using an average circa £50 per month.

No idea, but we had a letter last week saying we were £700 in credit for gas and £300 for electricity. We had not had our meters read in the 2 years we lived at this house. I always thought we were always under estimated when the bills came in. So that was a pleasant surprise when we did get our meters read last week.
I haven't checked for a while, butn Mrs. Tunku reckons we are paying £200 a month for electricity and gas combined. ie. £200 a month for both. Looking at this thread, this seems a bit high for three people in a 4 bedroom modern semi.
Mind you, I do keep the caravan on the drive and have that plugged into the mains to make sure it's internal temperature is up to room temperature all year round.

4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 5 receptions 12 year old fairly large family house. Gas heating and water, lots of computers, televisions and the usual electrical stuff. Water on all the time, people around all day so heating on most of the time in winter.
Guess that's not too bad.
