...the TVR forum was the busiest place on PH. Nowadays it seldom gets more than a few threads each day - how sad is that?

Yes, but don't forget it's that time of year when they're all getting tucked up for the winter.......

Because nearly all the questions have been asked and answered, and everyone here knows how to use the search function?

Thats funny, I was looking at the TVR news going back years thinking about the original prototype TVR Tuscan road car from the Birmingham 1998 Motor Show and wondering , where it was now? Does it still exist or was it scarpped after the show?

That's one car I would love to have, right, searching for tuscan race cars converted to the road on the internet.

Anyone got one near me South Wiltshire I could have a blast in?

Sadly, part of the subtext is "What did you trade your TVR in for?"
XKR in case you ask.

Theres your answer...

As someone who was one of just 3500 members on here in the early days I can tell you that bhy comments like the above are one of the reasons many people stay away now.

This was such a great place to be & everyone got on really well, it was one of the few places you could go & find people local to you who shared the same passion & the meets we arranged were great as a result.

The meets are still great & long may it last, but if want to argue with someone (which I dont) I can walk into a Brixton pub for a proper fight rather than logging on to a website. On an egroup everyone knows each other, & this means people think twice before they post nasty comments as they know full well they are very likely to meet the person they might be offending....seems to keep things much sweeter.

sorry nick But there's the problem, members have dwindled because they have know idea whats going on anymore its never in the right place (here or sprint) and your right no-one is going to speak out incase they offend so guess your never know until a few others are willing to speak out. If anyone has an old sprint mag from MARCH 2001 "NO 303" could you please post the future events page. it will give an idea of what is missing in the mag. then take a look at this years events for the same time all the best gary

Sorry Gary thats absolute rubbish & not what the OP was asking about when he started this thread.

He asked why this site isnt so busy with TVR related banter anymore & you (& your mate...funny how you both arrived within minutes of each other) are going off on a tangent.

Once again you have proved my earlier point.

Well done

It's because they are so reliable - well mine is anyway! I am at that halcyon stage between sorting out all the niggles of a low mileage car and everything wearing out. Happy days.
