I thought it was about the heat and the technology used, not the brand (GHD) itself.

There are one or two other brands who manufacture exactly the same spec products (ceramic, wet to dry & reach up to 230 Degrees etc etc). Yet you pay less. A lot of 'trade' suppliers are now open to the public.

I believe CVM they are hair straightners (the power of google as I had no idea either) surely if you want to straighen your hair just use a brush and a hairdryer..?

I do but just dry it, brush it and bang it into a pony tail, DONE..!
