Porsche G96/00 and G50 Transaxle questions... Again!

Does anyone know the diameter of the G96/00 input shaft and whether this is the same as the G50 input shaft? I assume it probably is, but I am just trying to check while I get all the information together for my engine conversion.

Also, can anyone tell me whether the number of splines is the same?

Basically, I can get a flywheel/ clutch kit for a G50 but I am trying to work out whether this would be the same as I needed for the G96/00, or whether I would need a different arrangement... If it is the same, then I expect it would cut down the cost dramatically.

Hi Dom

The clutches are very different between the G96/00 and a G50. The main difference is that the G96/00 as standard is a push-type clutch where the G50 is a pull-type.
