Bestest sub-£100 iPhone/iPod dock

OK - so for that money I'm not going to get the full musical experience but I really just want something for the lounge so my son can have a dance (for son, read: me).

Not sure. I just have a cheap Phillips speaker/amp travel set. I bought it because I liked the colour.

I recently purchased this:

Klipsch iGroove iPod Speaker System Black, similar to the one above. The sound experience is amazing I paid about £70 (after discount) from Amazon. I was so impressed with it that I bought another for my father-in-law for Christmas. Sadly, after 5 days the price shot up to £85

I believe you can't go wrong with Klipsch. Enjoy

which tested a bunch of ipod docks and altec lansing 602 decent review (never used so not that sure)

The results for the Klipsch's tested rated them very highly for sound quality, just make sure they're the latest versions as apparently the previous ones would work with latest ipods and iphone

Klipsch igroove is still the daddy sub £100. Most rate this better than the Bose. Buy from Amazon.

I wanted a dock with built in DAB so bought the Intempo i-something (iHD?), £117 delivered (Amazon also), works very well too. Sound not quite up to the igroove, but nearly.


ETA: Comet were doing a Sony mini system with DAB and CD and idock, with sep speakers, 50w RMSx2 for a crackin £99.99 a week or 2 ago. This would have been much better sound, but the unit was too deep for my kitchen instal.

I've got a Logitech mm50, which is great for it's size and portability.

But, for £100 an amp, speakers and a dock blows it away.

Both me and the GF have Logitech somethingorothers - and they're both pretty good.
