Hi all,
I'm 5 weeks into my V50 D5 ownership, and having problems with my AUX connection (which I'm using for my MP3). It worked for about 2 weeks, but now only plays either from one side of the speakers, or loses lyrics / sound quality all the time.
Anyone had similar problems? Any ideas what to do!? I can't listen to morning radio any longer!!
Cheers.

I'd just let the dealer sort it under warranty, assuming you can find one that hasn't closed down...

Have lots closed down? My nearest one in Chesterfield has gone, but the Sheffield one is still there (or was the other week anyway!)

Melton Mowbray one that I used has gone, as has the Loughborough one (admitedly this one went a while ago), leaving me with the Notthingham one, which isn't particularly convenient... Perhaps not lots, but they are certainly a bit spread out near me now.

Mine did that but traced the problem to the phono connection cable.

If the radio drives you batty why not rip a couple of mp3/wma compilation cds?

Thanks guys.

Good idea about the CD also. I've been contemplating a DAB radio in fact. Anyone had any experiences? I hear the Pure Highway in-car DAB radio is fairly effective.

Plfrench & Mondayo - incidentally, the R-design D5 has been very enjoyable so far, no major concerns, although the drivers seat doesn't quite go low enough for my liking, the constant lights-on drives me mad (forever leaving them on), and it can be a bit sluggish if you miss the revs. But, the noise is nice, the drive is comfortable, and it looks great. Only clocked up 1500 miles so far, but all good.

I think it was October, but could have been November. I think it was a problem with the group (think they were owned by Pentagon or Pendragon) and they shut a few dealerships. Shame as it was nice and handy for me, and the Sheffield one is a pain in the @ss to get to with the new ring road.
