Bloody Flu

Not man-flu, either. I've been ill since last Tuesday (i.e. the 9th) with this bloody flu, I've had a headache, sore throat, general facial leaking (yuk) and coughing, and I am getting very fed up with it. This is pretty much the first day I've really felt like typing anything, apart from a couple of quick PH replies.

I've missed three serious pissups with different work colleagues, and in dangerof missing another this Saturday. So I'm very pissed off and I want some sympathy.

So if you want to be sympathetic please go ahead, I know I can rely on you guys who are busy working...

I have 'something' at the moment, not a cold and not the flu, but I decided to go and get pissed tuesday night, i felt like death the next day, and that was only after about 6-7 pints (which is enough for me but wouldnt give me a hangover or anything normally)

so er, yeah, well done for not drinking

Actually, it is like a really bad cold, but I've never, ever had a cold which lasts 10 days before.

Actually, it is like a really bad cold, but I've never, ever had a cold which lasts 10 days before.

Iv had it since Sunday felt like i had gone 20 rounds with Mike Tyson iv sweated and spewed about a stone since then i had 3days off work come in today been sick twice but its all bile as iv not eaten since sunday either can only drink water, even though in work they will not send me home and im doing 11hours today aswell came in at 8.30 and will finish at 8pm NOT a happy bunny.

My OH has had sickness and poos but he has had to go in to work as well now he is starting with the Man flu.

So i think we are both due some much needed sympathy.

Got it as well , same again about 10 days on and still cant shake it , i have a mouth full of ulcers as well

Rule of thumb if you can barely get out of bed and it hurts to lift your head off the pillow its the flu anything else is a cold

Got ill on Monday night. Sickness, lack of energy, hot then cold, snotty nose, sore throat, cough, bit of a headache and my legs ache!

I have spent a very long time in bed and not looked at any porn which speaks huge volumes.

Sounds like ebola. Go straight to Manchester Airport and take the first flight to Africa (one way). It's your only chance of survival!

Well my better half had this all last week and with her coughing and spluttering, I had to go out and purchase Tena Lady for her, she was so embarrassed but every time she has a coughing fit.

This will not be forgotten when the little minx is all recovered.
