Appreciate that you may all know the answer to this and have replied many times before but can you help ..

My bloke, late for a meeting, hurrying at a slightly more than legal speed, noticed a bloke with a video camera at the side of the road not apparently operated by the police. So, does this mean he'll be getting one of those nice letters in the post in the next couple of weeks or was it something entirely innocent?

All advice on legal situation gratefully received?!?

cheers

Annette

Nah, he was van-free. Just a bloke in a yellow jacket with some camera equipment and he appeared to press a button as my bloke went by, it was just before he got on the motorway and there was another one of them on the M25 as well. Neither of them in vans. Cheers!

He didn't think so, he reckons it was a camera and pointing straight at him!
