It's taken me a while to buy this, so I was keen to see what the hype was about when I stuck the disk in the PS3 the other night.

Having downloaded a system update and Home the night previously, I was expecting it to fire straight up - but no, 67Mb of downloads which took over an hour!

Still, patient soul that I am, I waited and had an hour or so of jumping sackboy about (with the rather frustrating control system of 'automatically' jumping in and out of the scree - but no doubt I'll get used to it).

So, I decide to pop it in again for a little 'play', to be greeted with ANOTHER update required - again, 67Mb. I watched the first 2% download at a snails pace and thought 'sod it'. It's back in the box an on the shelf.

Honestly, the last time I had to wait for so long to play was with a tape drive and a ZX Spectrum - talk about progress!

Anyone else experiencing this?

Try Free Download Manager - reduced a 2.6 Gb download from Vista predicted 23 hours to 4! That is on a 4mb broadband link

Mine down loaded pretty quickly smile

Am I missing something with this game though all I can see is its

1) A platform game

2) You can customise your own levels

3) Play other peoples home made levels

Is there something else to this and I am not seeing it confused
