Frigging Christmas Shopping!

I'm looking for help and sincerely hope I'm not the only one!
I've been on holiday from work since the start of December and my main aim was to complete my Christmas shopping early! And as always, with under a week to go until the fat man gets stuck in my chimney...I've bought one item, yep, one measly present which cost me a tenner.
Now I don't know whether its because I don't like parting with money (which could be going in my Porsche fund!) whether its because I'm crap at choosing presents or resent what the occasion has become...but if I don't sort presents out and quick I'm shafted!
I personally could go without any presents at Christmas, I like the getting together, the merriment and above all my christmas dinner (that'd do me nicely!).
Anyway thats my rant over, to make it a worthwhile post...is anyone else still in the position where they haven't sorted out Christmas as yet?

I've done nothing, but will do the same as I do every year - complete the whole shopping trip in under two hours.
The basic idea is not to put any thought into it - pick up the first thing off the shelf and then fit it with the best person, don't think of a person then try and think of a gift.
The "that'll do" basis will see you right every time.

Here speaks a true "Bloke", this country was built on the "It'll do" philosophy, if all else fails there's always the motorway services, many fine gifts in these establishments.The basic idea is not to put any thought into it - pick up the first thing off the shelf and then fit it with the best person, don't think of a person then try and think of a gift.

I popped to the local supermarket and the local garden centre in which I spent a total of £15.
One item for the other half and a copy of performance car for the other half.
It looks I'll be on my lonesome tomorrow; trawling through the massses in Bristol.
Problem I have however; is I have no idea what to get anyone...I know the missus has spent some time deliberating over my presents. At this rate she's gonna screw me and not in a positive way!
