what MF cloth best for each job?
Discussion
Read about 40 pages out of 70 odd on this forum, can get bit addictive this detailing world.
Is east question but can't find answer any where as to what MF cloths are best for each job? I seem to have loads of em now. Is the one with really short fibres, looks bit like suede, best for glass? Wat best for cleaning leather. Also got posh double sided buffing cloth with nap longer one side than other, how do I use this?
Also know am supposed to use hose with no attachment to sheet water off car. But some times if hog get washer out use that, but never close or on full power, will this take my Zymol wax off? Or no different to hose?

Longer strand MF's do a great job removing wax. Shorter for glass. Leather should be gently rubbed down by a warm cloth, cleaners applied the gently brush the leather to aggitate the surface, do NOT scrub. Remove the excess with another damp cloth then condition and protect.
Having washed the car, rinse with an open ended hose, or watering can. Then dry with a decent waffle weave towel, or blowdry with a leaf blower!
Wheel arches I allow to air dry, having washed with All Purpose Cleaner and then dressed.
