Currency Conversion Question

The on-line converters are stating around £1 - 28.3 CZK
The Post Office (with 0% commission) is only offering 25.16.
Zero my ar$e, I make that about 11%, or am I missing something?

Where is the best place to get foreign currency?

Depends if you are looking at Tourist or business rates online. I'd say the Post Office is closer to the rate you'll get anywhere

Travelex guarantee the best rates, but the Post Office are very close and will deliver to your house for free if you buy atleast £500 worth.

0% commission basically translates as "we'll give you a st rate of exchange".

I remember perusing the exchange rates in a Post Office window some time ago when £1.00 was equal to $1.90. The sign proudly stated 'no commission', but they'd only give you $1.80 for £1.00 but wanted $2.00 for £1.00 if you were changing to Sterling. Be careful with 0% commission deals. It's usually much better value to pay a fixed commission and get the exact exchange rate.
