BB8820 paired to my XKR not downloading names, just phone #s
Discussion
Had a similar issue with my Pearl on my 06 XKR. Tried deleting and start again. I got names and numbers but couldnt see last 10 calls etc.
Use the Blackberry pairing software do not use the Jaguar route.
If it doesn't work its a visit to dealer I think. If your phone is a new model may be that Jags software needs updating.Have you checked on Jags site the compatability of your phone?
Good luck

What never ceases to amaze me is that people seem to complain that their car isn't compatible with their phone. Rather than complaining that their phone isn't compatible with their car. You pay £70K+ for the car and a couple of hundred quid for a phone and then they think it's the cars fault.
Perhaps if we all complained to the phone manufactures they'd finally get round to making their phones stick to some sort of standard, rather than them all being annoyingly different for no good reason other than the manufactures heart felt desire to piss everyone off. If the phones worked sensibly then it would be possible to connect any phone to any suitably equipped car, rather than having to try and work out whether loading a new firmware version on the phone would mean you'd loose car connectivity for the next 6 months waiting for the car maker to get around to re-designing their software to cope with it.
But hey, at the moment I'd settle for having my f
g N95 work reliable as a hand held phone!
