It doesn't matter, which one you buy Mr Cowell, appears to have the rights to Cohen, Buckley and his X factor version, the royalties will be rolling in this Xmas...he has probably started the various campaigns to publicise the more established versions.

Don't think you truely appreciate music if you cannot see Buckleys version for one of the best renditions of said song along with one of the best songs heard.

I actually bought it off itunes eventhough i have the album for the simple reason i would give anything to put that Burkes career off to a rough start. They get it too easy on that programme. Even with that aside i don't think her version can compare to any version let alone the Buckley version

Funnily enough and all sarcasm aside I do love that song!

I have absolutely no idea why but now that song is a lot more mainstream I hate it!

I cannot explain why? I can only compare it Snow Patrols ‘run’ Loved that, a great song off a great album, then Leona Lewis covered it on Radio 1’s live lounge I heard that live and I couldn’t believe how good it was. Then Simon Cowell saw the interest it had on Youtube and re-recorded the cover and made it a single. Now it has the big ‘production’ and a bit of extra warble and I cannot stand that either.
